How do Leon and Borden feel about letting Bardy go? Choose one feeling and write long about it. Then tell how Leon knew Bardy was a spotted owl according to your inner voice.
My inner voice told me that Leon and Borden felt nervous about letting bardy go. I think so because Leon likes bardy and Borden still was thinking that bardy is to young. My inner voice also told me that Leon knew bardy was a spotted owl because Leon knows something is up with sally and how she knows so much about animals. (including owls).
I agree with I think they feel bad for Bardy because they want to get him to hunt and to become a good hunter.Also they don't want him getting hurt too!.
I think Borden feels sad and dose not want to leave Bardy. I think this because in the last page of this chapter it says Still Borden did not look away.In the text it also says "I love you owlet," he whispered."Good luck." An other thing the text said Borden hung back, stroking Bardy's head and taking to him.That is why I think Borden dose not want to leave Bardy.
Borden and Sally feel sad about letting Bardy go. At the end of the chapter, Borden refused to leave he stayed behind and stroked and talked to Bardy. He said," I love you owlet, he whispered. "Good luck." The book also said, Still Borden would not turn away. Sally even took a last look at Bardy before following Leon. They both show signs of missing Bardy and being sad.
I think Leon and Borden feel very sad that there letting Bardy go. I think that because when they were in the woods Leon and Borden didn't want to let Bardy go back home. My feeling is that Bardy wanted to see his family but also did not want to leave Sally,Borden and Leon. I think that cause Bardy was sitting at the place where Borden found him. my inner voice said that Leon knew Bardy was a spotted cause sally said to Leon did you know that Bardy's a spotted owl or something like that.
My inner voice makes me look back at the previous chapter and think, why did Leon not want to show Bardy in public? Now, I think that Leon just had this feeling that Bardy was a spotted owl but just didn't feel it. After some time, I think he reconnized his feeling.
I agree. In the previous chapters, Leon and Sally and Borden cared very much for the owlet. I wonder how Bardy feels. Bardy really changed the way Borden's family looks at an owl. They don't threaten owls anymore.

i have text to world conecton .... in the book bordon was having a hard time saying by to bardy and i had a hard time to saying good by to my dogs when they pass away.
Borden feels sad about letting Bardy because he refused to turn away when they were going to go back home so that shows that he LOVES Bardy and does not want him to go.
I think Leon and Borden feel really sad about letting Bardy go. I think they feel sad because they liked Bardy. Also, because they had some fun times with him. Another thing is, they were just getting to know him.Last When they were in the forest Borden and Leon did not want to let Bardy go. that is what I was thinking when I read this chapter.
