I do not understand that owls stay with there moms.I thought that when they where old eanof they would fly away.I am think this because back when Bardy was at home with his owl mom,when they where looking for food Bardy's mom was not supost to go into her mother's and father's part of the forest because they had driven her off.
Clear cut means that there is a area in a forest that is empty of trees. In the case of that, mudslides wash down from the mountains and overflows into streams and rivers. Fast winds also blow because there is nothing to block out the wind. That is why we must not clear cut.
The next chapter is called Bonded and Ithink it is about how Leon and Bardy become freinds. Another reson I thnk this is because befor the chapter Imprinting ends it toks about Bardy liking Leon and how Leon might like Bardy when he relises that Bardy likes him and thinks he is his mother.
but bardy in NOT a spotted owl so he WON'T shoot him,so i do not know why you think that because i dont think u have text evidence that its a spotted owl.
I wonder if Bardy had fattened, his head no longer drooped, and he has a perch, I wonder, does that mean that Borden's family has to let Bardy go? Or will Bardy never learn to fly. Since the person he has imprinted (Leon) doesn't know how to fly.
I am starting to predict that bardy is going to shed more feathers as he keeps growing.I predict this because it said on page 66 that he was becoming a juvenile owl,who would soon be adorned with the immature feathers of his species.
I'm sad because Bardy is going to have to go to the forest and I think that Leon is going to miss Bardy because Bardy really liked Leon and Leon really liked Bardy. Also they are going to be sad cause Bardy might die in the forest and that could be really tough animals like a lion or a gorilla.
I'm thinking that Borden and Leon are going to keep Bardy. I think that because they are probably going to be really sad cause they have had Bardy for a long time. Also Leon and Borden were really getting happy with Bardy and Bardy's just going to leave.
I think Leon is starting to like owls because he set traps for bardy so he would stay alive because when borden brought him home leon wanted to shoot bardy.
I wonder why Sally's dad is at her school to change his work cloth's. why couldn't he just do it at his house. I think it might be cause he just wants to see sally either that or he got locked out of his house.
I think that when bardy flapped his wings when he didn't have anough power to lift himself up because he was still ill and didn't have full heath to lift himself in the air because he didn't flap his wings fast anough to lift himself up.
I think that bardy likes peac because mabey owls edat them off of trees when they are in the wild so bardy got used to it. The other opshen is he was a baby so his mom would eat the pechs and then regurgatat the pech into bards mouth sorta like a bird when it is hungery for lunch diner or any kind of meal I gess but I'm not sher about it because when bardy was in the nest it said they could not find food!
i wonder why it says three days and twenty nine mice later i think that is funny.also i wonder what are pantaloons are?.also i wonder what juvenile means is it a place is it a city is it a plane what is it?.
I can't belive that Bardy is going to be an adult owl next year! Also, i'm wondering why Sally is vacuming the owlet but Leon isn't? Next, I agree with Cindy that Leon should get a job. Why did it say Bordon will let Bardy go on page 70?
I wonder if Leon likes the owl now because he has been taking good care of the owl and spending a lot of time with the owl and he has not been sleeping that much because he is with the owl.
I think the reson bardy likes to perch is when I read other books it seams owls are allwas on branches perching so mabe it is a natrel instenkt for owls to perch themsellvs on braches mabe not I say mabey bescause wouldn't bardy fly awawy and go perch he sellf to be saf when he feel down and borden pick't hem up so is bardy changing hes live stiell because peopel chang there live stiell all the time mabe owls are the sam way and related to humans in some whay?
