Wow! I didn't know that Borden treats other owls kindly! I remember that this owlet is Enrique's son. I wonder, if Enrique is a spotty, then why isn't his mate a spotty, and why isn't his offspring spottys? I wonder what will happen if they find out that Bardy's father is a spotted owl? Will they kill Bardy? Will they kill Enrique? Or will they just leave them alone?
I wonder why Leon kept on saying shoot the owl? Also,why did Leon say feed him mice? I think owls eat mice but i'm not sure.Then,I think Leon is starting to like the owlet because he cared enough to make a little bed.

Bardy seems weak and tierd.I think so because in the book it said Bardy sunk to his heels weakly.Fluttered his wings and opened his moth.He called to Leon.Also when Leon put his elbows on the table Bardy ran over to the cave like shelter he had made and setuled down.

I wonder why Leon wants to shoot Bardy because it is not a spotted owl he is a barred owl.I think he dose not like any owl because I think he thinks that they are part of the same family some how because he is a owl to even different breeds of owls to so he probably dose no like any because they are the same type of animals in this case owls.

I wonder why they only caught two mice. They should have caught more if they set so many traps.If they wait till dark they might catch more mice because mice are noctrunell.bardy might starve if they don't get enogh food
At almost at the end he said to set traps to catch animals to give to the owl to and when the owl asked Leon to slice the animals to peices so it can fit in the owls mouth
In this chapter I think Leon is mad because Borden toke the owl in the house and the owl reminded him of that he had to pay 50.00 or he could tell the judge Leon's story and lower the prizes.
Leon,Borden and Brady are looking for a spotty owl and they found an owl .But it was not a spotty owl and Grandfather just said to shoot it.I can't think of them doing i bad thing to them.

I feel rely bad for bardy because when bardy gets older he will grow his spots and he will get killed so i hope that they make a specil fur coat that can fit right over the fethers so borden dose not kill him.But maybe Borden will not kill but maybe Leon will kill him any way when he is gone. maybe just before he gets older Borden safe him.
