Ella what you see on p.58 isn't Bardy's feathers .Its pencil marks instead of feathers.But it is true that his mom and dad were spotted owls so that makes Bardy a spotted owl too.
I think that Leon is hooked onto Bardy. He caught mice, he cuddled him, and he kept Bardy busy at night by turning on the TV and watching it with Bardy. I think that Bardy really likes Leon just like Leon really likes Bardy. But Leon still wants to wring Bardy's neck! Still, I can infer that Leon is not going to wring Bardy's neck. He cared so much for Bardy, why would he even wring Bardy's neck? He even went out in the rain to catch mice for Bardy. If he's depending on Bardy to show that he is also kind, why would he kill Bardy then?
Well I think he just whant's to keep him and talke care of him so the jug thinks he likes owls so he dose not have to pay the fine but I don't think it will make a diferens becase he still fought paul james and elegely atakt him
well i wonder why leon cares about bardy becase when borden first brought hem home leon said to shout bardy but now he cares for bardy. I just rememberd that he cares for bardy becase he whant to show the jug that he cares for owls so he dose not have to pay the fine!
Leon is caring for Bardy because he truly loves him. It's not because he doesn't want to pay the fine or anything, it's because over time Leon changed.
I think Bardy likes leon because Leon is really warm and bardy needs warmness. Also Leon is being more caring to bardy cause Leon set up mouse traps over night to catch mice for bardy to eat cause they didn't have any food for bardy.
I am thinking Leon wont wring bardy's neck after he sees how calm and harmless he rely is.I also think Leon's mood will get better as the story continues because of bardy's aditude and how Borden acts to bardy.I think that is very inspiering to Leon.
I think that Leon is going to keep the owl alive and take care of it and after they do not care about what he did and then he might just put the owl back in the wild or mabe he will find goodnis and not let it die
I think LEon cares about Bardy alot because he woke up at 2 a.m. Leon is turning into a really nice guy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! =)
I wonder, I don't really think that Leon is going to cut wood again. I remember earlier in the story, Leon really likes to fish. I bet he found a job that involves fishing and doesn't wring Bardy's neck. If he did, why would this book even have the word "owl" in the title?
Leon changed. That's why he gave Bardy the chicken. I wonder, is chicken healthy for owlets? I thought owls eat mice, voles, jays, and other small animals. If Bardy ate chicken, will he get used to his normal food again?

How is Bardy spiting out hairballs my schema is that cats spit out hairballs not owls at all.Maybe it's cause Leon's chesthair I saw that in the picture when he was sleeping I saw that he has chesthair.I think that's why Bardy is spiting it out.

I think those are not hairballs. They are pellets. Since owls swallow foods whole, they swallow the parts that are not good for them. So, they spit them out in hairy things called pellets.
i agree with leon in the story beacause i think a owl should not spit furry balls but borden said whats wrong with that?But i do not think it is normal for a owl to do that i think it is normal for cats to do it.
leon is probly not going to wring bardy`s neck because leon needs bardy to get out of jail.but what if it dosen`t work then leon will be in truble big truble and bardy won`t get any food and starve to death.
Leon's characteristics are worried about bardy.He's worried about bardy dieing.Now his mood is changing to worried to calm.He's calm by giving bardy.Also by calming down borden by thinking that bardys not gonna die but he really is.And he is tring to calm his self down more because he judge saw Leon with bardy and the judge thinks that Leon what owls exinct.And that he is tring to rember a really big speech.
I wonder why Bardy really likes Leon so much because Bardy woke Leon at 2:00 AM and then 5:30 AM to get to Leons ear. Also Leon set Bardy up watching TV but that didn't work so Bardy woke Leon up cause Bardy probably got cold at night and needed some warmness from Leon.
i wonder why when everyone want to bed Leon set traps than a SNAP! awoke him at 2 in the morning then Tiptoed in the kitchen.also i wonder what a wood rat is what did it look like what is its name wood rat.also i wonder what did it mean for *the owlet sunk on its heels*.also i wonder why he really really really need the owlet i know for court but what else.
