As you read this chapter, think about how Leon has changed his feelings about Bardy. Write long about your thinking with some evidence from the text about how he changed!

I think Leon likes Bardy but he dose not want to belive it or have other people know.I think this because in the text it said He leaned down and almost kissed the round head.Then horrified at himself he blurted out "And after that I'll lead you to the chopping block and chop off your head."Leon opened his mouth to laugh but not even a chuckle came out.
I agree with you. But I wonder why is he acting this way. Does he not want the owl haters to know that he is a owl lover? Or is it because he thinks that it is a waste that after he loved Bardy so much, he is going to chop off his head. But it is not like he has no chioce, he doesn't have to chop Bardy's head. But in the first place, why does he want tp chop off Bardy's head?
Leon really changed in chapter 10. When he went to catch mice, he brought Bardy along, and when they got there, crows dove at Bardy and Leon protected Bardy by tucking him underneath his shirt. Then he placed him on his knee and let him look around. He even talks to Bardy! In the beginning he thought talking to an owlet is ridculious! When he mentioned that he was going to chop off Bardy's head, he tried to laugh but not even a chuckle came out.
I am thinking that the bond Leon and bardy are starting will change Leon's desision about wringing bardy's neck.I also think as bardy gets older Leon will start to like bardy even more.I am thinking that will make Borden happy!
I think Leon changed a lot throughout chapter 10. He is really worried about Bardy's hunger streaks. I can infer that if Bardy had hunger streaks earlier in the story, I bet Leon will not care much about them. But in this chapter, he is really worried because he said, "Find out what you can about hunger streaks. It would be a terrible thing if Bardy cannot fly."
L wonder what will happen after Leon takes Bardy to the juge and says ''I saved this owlet so i'm not so bad after all.''I think that he will set him free.My prof is the text said that Leon will teach Bardy to fly.
I am noticing the next chapter is called the shower stall.I am thinking it is going to be when bardy gets in the shower.I think Borden and Leon will be suprised!
Leon is always geting up early to feed Bardy because in the text on page 74 it says the next day Borden and Leon got up early as usual to go mousing before school.that is weird
I wonder why Leon and Borden always go mouse hunting before school. I mean why can't they go in the middle of school or after school or maybe even at night time where the mice think they are safe cause the mice know's when Leon and Borden are going to come.
Leon is helping Bardy.I think he wants the best for him.He almost kissed him ! Leon changed so much first he just wanted to shoot him then he just liked him NOW he LOVES him!!!
I'm noticing that first Leon wanted to shoot Bardy but Borden didn't want to. But now Leon loves Bardy. But Borden's the one that didn't want to shoot Bardy so why Doesn't Bardy like Borden?
I'm noticing in chapter 10 Leon mood really changes. Leon's mood really changes because Leon is really loving Bardy. Also Leon is trying harder to get more food. Another thing is that Bardy is really getting used to Leon and Leon is really getting used to Bardy. Finally Leon is taking Bardy to go mouse hunting with Borden.
i think leon changed his feelings about bardy because in the text it said he jumped to his wings and tried to fly but only fluttered to the ground leon quickly picked him up and tucked him in his shirt.
i wonder why it says *Borden and Leon got up early as usual to go mousing before school* i did not know that Borden went to school.also i wonder what did it mean when it said *in the alley behind their house (they) heard a rasping hunger cry who is they?.also i wonder why Leon ran in a circle.
I think leon has changed his moode about bardy but he relly is starting to care for hem I new he reell turley did when it said LEON ALMOST KISSED THE ROUND FEREY HEAD OF BARDY( page 78) if you whant to see it. But leon stell said afrter the jug lowers the fines I well chop your head of wech I steel don't understand because why would he hide bardy from the crows when they atakt bardy and try to eat bardy! so if you have the anser please reply!
